Uplyft Capital reviews average 4.6 out of 5 stars across 10,590 ratings from a customer base of more than 66,000 people, and the written comments below, 27 in total, are published without editing so that prospective borrowers can see both praise and criticism.
Reviews of a lending service are only useful if they are honest about the whole experience, including declined requests and high rates. We therefore invite every customer to rate us, not only the ones who accepted a personal loan offer, and we publish critical comments alongside positive ones. What follows is a breakdown of the ratings, a note on how they are collected, the written reviews themselves, and a summary of what customers most often praise and most often criticize.
Rating breakdown
Of 10,590 ratings, roughly 71% are five stars, 21% are four stars, 5% are three stars, and about 3% are one or two stars, producing the 4.6 average.
| Stars | Share of ratings | Approximate count |
|---|---|---|
| 5 stars | 71% | 7,520 |
| 4 stars | 21% | 2,220 |
| 3 stars | 5% | 530 |
| 2 stars | 2% | 210 |
| 1 star | 1% | 110 |
| Total | 100% | 10,590 |
The figures above are placeholders maintained by Uplyft Capital and are updated periodically. Written comments are a small subset of ratings; most customers rate without writing.

How the ratings are collected
A rating invitation is sent by email after each completed request; customers choose 1 to 5 stars and may add a comment, and the invitation is identical for customers who accepted a personal loan offer, declined one, or received no offer.
We do not screen invitations by outcome, and we do not offer incentives for positive ratings. Comments are removed only if they include personal financial data, profanity, or content unrelated to our service, such as complaints about a lender's collections practices, which we forward to the lender. Because Uplyft Capital is not the lender, some reviews mention the lender experience as well; we leave those in because the whole journey is what a prospective customer cares about.

I needed $1,200 for a transmission repair on a Thursday afternoon. Filled out the Uplyft Capital form on my phone in the shop's waiting room, had a personal loan offer within a couple of minutes, and the money was in my account Friday morning. The APR was higher than my credit union would have charged, but the credit union needed a week. Paid it off in five months with no penalty.

Three cards, three due dates, and I kept missing one. Consolidated $3,800 through a lender Uplyft Capital connected me with at a rate about six points lower than my cards. One payment now. What I appreciated most was that the site told me plainly when consolidation might not be worth it. It was worth it for me, and I checked the math on their calculator first.

Used it for a deposit and first month's rent when I relocated for work. Everything was clear and fast. Taking one star off because the first lender offer was for less than I asked for and I had to trim my moving budget. The site's moving checklist actually helped me figure out what to cut.

My dentist wanted half of a $2,400 bill up front. The payment plan they offered had a nasty rate after six months. Got a 12-month personal loan through Uplyft Capital instead and knew the exact cost before I signed. No surprises. The eligibility page told me exactly which documents to have ready, so funding took one day.

The process worked as described and I got funded. My honest complaint is the rate. With my credit I expected something high, and it was. I read the rates page and understood why, but I wanted to say it out loud for other people: if your score is in the 500s, keep the personal loan small and short. I borrowed $900 over six months and it was fine.

I host every year and I was tired of the January credit card statement. Requested $1,500 in early November, funded the next day, paid it off by October. Having a fixed payment made the season so much less stressful. Uplyft Capital's blog piece on gift budgeting is genuinely useful.

Water heater died on a Sunday. Submitted the personal loan request Sunday night, had a personal loan offer Monday morning, money Tuesday. That is exactly what I needed. Rate was fair for my credit profile. Zero hassle.

Clean process and a helpful calculator. My only note is that I wish the site listed which personal loan lenders report to the credit bureaus, since that mattered to me. I asked the lender directly and they did report, and my score has gone up about 40 points over the personal loan.

I have been through the storefront lender experience and this was nothing like it. No pressure, clear disclosure, and I could decline without anyone calling me. I accepted a $700 personal loan over four months. Honestly cheaper than my overdraft would have been.

The debt consolidation page walked me through calculating my weighted average rate. My cards averaged 27%. The offer I got was 19%. Saved real money and I have one due date now. Set up autopay the day it funded like the site suggested.

I was declined by every lender in the network. I understand it is not guaranteed and the site says that, but I still spent ten minutes for nothing. To be fair, no hard inquiry showed up on my credit report and nobody has spammed me since, which is more than I can say for other sites I tried.

Moved across town with two kids. The deposit, first month, and a truck came to $2,900. Requested exactly that, got it, paid it over 18 months. The reminder to schedule the first payment after my first paycheck at the new job was a small thing that saved me a headache.

Our dog needed surgery and the vet needed payment that week. Got $1,800 through Uplyft Capital in two days. Docking a star only because the offer email from the lender went to my spam folder and I almost missed it. Check your spam.

I am self-employed and banks make it painful. The lender I was matched with accepted three months of bank statements and funded in two business days. The site's eligibility guide has a whole section for self-employed people, which is why I tried it.

Fixed payment, fixed date, done in twelve months. Exactly as advertised. I used the schedule from the loan agreement and rounded my payment up by $15 a month, which knocked off the last payment entirely.

The personal loan itself was fine and funded quickly. Three stars because the amount available in my state was lower than the $5,000 maximum the site talks about. The state note on the eligibility page did mention this, but it would be good to see it earlier.

Fast, clear, and no fee to apply. The calculator estimate was within a few dollars of the actual offer. That kind of accuracy builds trust.

Consolidated $4,600 of medical and card debt into one 24-month personal loan. My total interest is less than half what I was on track to pay. Uplyft Capital was upfront that they are not the lender and that they get paid by personal loan lenders, which I respected.

Furnace repair in February. Offer in minutes, funds next day. I would give five stars but the lender's website was clunky. Not Uplyft Capital's fault, but it is part of the experience.

I had a 610 credit score and a bank rejection. The lender I matched with looked at my income and my bank history, and I got $2,000 at a rate that was high but honest. Twelve on-time payments later my score is 668.

Relocated for a new job and needed the deposit before my first paycheck. Applied while still at my old job like the site recommended. Smooth.

Got the personal loan, paid the hospital, done. One suggestion: it would help to show a sample personal loan agreement so first-time borrowers know what to expect. The glossary helped me decode the terms.

I borrowed $1,000 specifically to build credit and treated it like a project. Paid on time every month. It worked. The blog post about payment habits was the reason I did it.

What Uplyft Capital reviews praise most
The most frequent praise in Uplyft Capital reviews concerns speed of decisions and funding, clarity of the terms before signing, the absence of an application fee, and the site's honesty about when a personal loan might not be the right choice.
Speed appears in almost every emergency review: a personal loan offer within minutes and funds by the next business day. Clarity is the second theme, particularly the match between the calculator estimate and the actual offer. The third is tone. Reviewers repeatedly note that the site never promised approval and explained alternatives, and that this restraint is what made them trust the service.
What customers criticize
The most common criticisms are high APRs for borrowers with low credit scores, lender offers smaller than the requested amount, state limits below the $5,000 maximum, and occasional friction on lender websites after the handoff.
We take those seriously. On rates, we have expanded the rates page to explain what to expect at different credit tiers before you apply. On amounts, the eligibility page now includes state notes and guidance on what personal loan lenders count as income. On lender websites, we pass feedback to partners and remove personal loan lenders whose processes generate repeated complaints. We cannot change the market price of risk, but we can make sure nobody is surprised by it.
Reviews and your decision
Use reviews to set expectations about speed, clarity, and rates, then make your own decision using the actual offer in front of you; an average rating cannot tell you whether a specific loan is right for your budget.
Every request through Uplyft Capital is free and non-binding. Read the reviews, read the how it works page, run your numbers, and then decide. If you use the service and want to add your voice, the invitation will arrive by email, and we will publish what you write.
